Extrusion Machine Operator


The primary responsibilities of an Extruder Machine Operator include but are not limited to starting up the extrusion process, efficiently completing product change-overs, ensuring that material meets the requirements defined in the specification, preparing for upcoming jobs, and shutting down equipment. This role is also responsible for accurately completing production documentation, verifying product quality, labeling and packaging finished products as well as notifying Production Supervisors and/or Production Leads if product quality does not meet specifications all while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.  Opportunities for rapid advancement exist for those who are fast learners, have a strong work ethic, and excellent attendance in our fast paced constantly evolving work environment.


What you need to excel at PACUR:

  • A great attitude and a desire to learn

  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide with a calculator)

  • Some mechanical aptitude (read a ruler, turn a screw)

  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team

  • Basic computer skills (if you can work a smart phone, that is sufficient)
